I workoutttttt (cue LMFAO)

No seriously though. I've been working out as much as I can, which so far was only three times last week and once this week. I want to make it a habit, though. My goal is to work out 45 minutes a day, four days a week by the end of the semester. It is a big commitment, and it will definitely take my actually putting it into my schedule, but I believe that I can work up to that point. I have been working on mainly cardio, a little bit of back strength training, and muscle workouts. My only issue so far is that I'm always starving after I come back, and I'm really tempted to eat some frozen microwave eggrolls that I bought last week. Speaking of money...

I have been doing awful at saving money. Working in retail is not easy, my friends. I watch merchandise that I love slowly begin to
go down in price and I can't help but buy it. It also doesn't help that I get an extra 25% off the merchandise that I purchase there. I need to learn to control my spending and stick to my budget. I am getting some money from my tax return, but I've decided to put that right into the bank and not touch it. I really don't need anything at the moment, but I have got to steer clear of stores, aside from work. A good investment that I made, however, was in purchasing a water bottle. At $10, I found an Aladdin water bottle at Target, and I carry it to all of my classes. It's also BPA free, which is a plus! Ultimately, this will help me to save money, because I no longer have to buy plastic water bottles. Helps the environment, helps my money saving efforts! The only downside is that my school's water doesn't taste the best.

Well, that's all I've got for you tonight. I don't have much of an update, but short reading isn't always a bad thing, right? I'm going to go enjoy some microwave eggrolls. Have a wonderful night, everyone!

  1. Where did you find these egg rolls?? As ignorant as it sounds... I didn't realize they made them haha. And I like egg rolls, as of two months ago (and the three times I've eaten them).
Kudos for working out. I made a 'resolution' to workout once a week this year. And I havn't even been to the gym haha. How do you fit it in??

    1. I found the egg rolls in the frozen food aisle at Walmart, but I wouldn't recommend them if you haven't liked egg rolls for a long time. It can ruin your view of them, because they don't taste the best. As energizing as working out even once is, once a week won't really do much for you. It'll burn a few calories, but if you really want to get in shape or start feeling just physically better, you should aim for at least 3 times a week. I usually go around 9:00 at night, because I can't seem to wake myself up early enough to go before class

    2. I'll probably pass, then, and stick to getting them those rare times I get Thai :)
haha, in that case I'll just skip the working out? Haha, it's already March on Friday, and I still haven't been to the gym. I spend all day on my feet teaching 3rd graders though, so at least I'm not completely stagnant, I suppose.
Good luck with keeping up with the routine!
